After graduating from Merrist Wood college as a fully qualified arborist, I worked for several tree surgery companies, gaining as much experience across a wide range of jobs and environments as possible.

In 2000, I established Andrews Tree and Hedge Care and rapidly built a reputation for quality, tree surgery and hedge cutting with an honest and friendly approach.

In recent years, the quantity of hedge work has increased, with repeat custom from previous clients and new work gained from recommendations.

​

As a result, I made the decision to solely specialize in hedge work and Hedge Man was born! 

​

This has enabled me to target my tools and procedures specifically towards hedge work, providing a safe, efficient and value for money service.

​

With a background in environmental science, I  appreciate the importance of managing our environmental impact. I have invested in the latest lower emission petrol tools and more recently we are investing in the new generation of cordless, electric tools.

​

Bio-degradable chain oil is always used in my saws and all waste material is recycled.

​

All work is covered by full public liability insurance.
